A space to honor, remember, and hold one another
On May 15, we will gather across time zones, across countries, across our community to do something both simple and profoundly important:
We will remember.
Congenital Melanocytic Nevi and Neurocutaneous Melanocytosis are more than diagnoses—they are lived experiences that shape families, journeys, and, for some, unimaginable loss.
Nevus Outreach is humbled and honored to introduce the CMN & NCM Day of Remembrance, an annual observance dedicated to honoring the lives of individuals whose journeys were cut short by complications of CMN and NCM.
This day is not about awareness in the traditional sense.
It is about presence.
It is about love that continues.
It is about making sure these lives are never reduced to statistics or forgotten in the pace of
progress.
Why This Day Matters
For many in our community, CMN and NCM are not just diagnoses—they are journeys marked by uncertainty, resilience, and, for some, profound loss.
Behind every story is a child, a parent, a family.A laugh. A milestone. A moment that mattered.
And for those we have lost, there has not always been a dedicated space to collectively pause and say:
We remember you.
You mattered.
You still matter.
The CMN & NCM Day of Remembrance was created to hold that space intentionally, compassionately, and together.

What This Day Will Look Like
This is not a day filled with programming or expectations. Instead, we invite our community to engage in whatever way feels most meaningful:
Lighting a candle in honor of a loved one
Sharing a photo or memory
Saying their name out loud
Taking a quiet moment of reflection
Gathering with family or others who understand
Whether public or private, spoken or silent—every act of remembrance matters.
A Community That Remembers Together
Grief can feel isolating. But within this community, no one walks that path alone.
On May 15, we come together not to reopen wounds—but to acknowledge them, to honor them, and to stand beside one another in a shared understanding that these lives changed us.
They shaped our community.
They continue to shape our purpose.
And they are part of every step forward we take.
How to Participate
In the days leading up to May 15, we will invite families to share the names and stories of those they wish to honor.
Nevus Outreach will create a shared space for remembrance—one that reflects the depth, diversity, and love within this community.
If you choose to participate, know this:
There is no right way to remember.
There is only your way.
With Love, Always
To the families who carry these stories every day—
we see you.
we honor your loved ones.
and we hold space with you.
On May 15, and every day after.
Because every life matters. Every story matters. Every memory lives on.
Participate in the CMN & NCM Day of Remembrance
Families who wish to honor their loved one are invited to submit a name, photo, or memory to be included in our shared tribute.

Out of respect for each family, memorial requests may only be submitted by an immediate family member.

This remembrance feels deeply human and full of love. Reading these words reminded me how important it is to keep memories alive and support one another through difficult moments. Even while spending time playing basketball legends with friends, moments like this bring perspective and gratitude. Wishing strength, peace, and comfort to every family taking part in the CMN & NCM Day of Remembrance.
What a beautiful way to come together and honor those affected by CMN and NCM—your remembrance day feels so heartfelt. Speaking of caring for families, tools like Nutrition Label Maker help small food brands share clear nutrition info, making everyday choices a little easier for everyone.
I have recommended this post to more people in the past hour than any other content this month. Ragdoll Archers has been my most recommended link whenever the topic of free games comes up.
The platform on unblocked games feels responsive enough for quick browser gameplay sessions.
My kids absolutely love Moto X3M – it's fun, safe, and actually helps build reaction time and coordination. Great family game at moto x3m 👨👧
