It is a monumental moment for the CMN community! Nevus Outreach is thrilled to
announce the official establishment of Global CMN Awareness Day, a dedicated day to raise awareness about Congenital Melanocytic Nevi (CMN). This is a huge step forward for the entire CMN community, fostering international collaboration and amplifying our voices.
This exciting news comes straight from the recent Naevus Global meeting held in Paris on June 15-16, 2024. Patient advocate leaders convened and decided to take CMN awareness to incredible new heights, with the creation of this global awareness day being a key initiative.

Global CMN Awareness Challenge: Let's Make a Difference Together!
Are you ready to take the Global CMN Awareness Challenge? From September 22nd to September 28th, we invite you to join us in spreading awareness about Congenital Melanocytic Nevi (CMN) and supporting the CMN community. Each day, we'll present a simple yet impactful challenge to help you make a difference.
Here's the Challenge Schedule:
September 22nd: Change Your Profile Photo - Show your support by updating your profile picture with a CMN awareness graphic or a photo of yourself with a CMN. Let's flood social media with blue and purple!
September 23rd: Share Your Story - Take a moment to share your CMN journey on social media. Your story can inspire others, break down stigmas, and create a stronger community. Use the hashtag #GlobalCMNAwarenessDay.
September 24th: Talk to Someone New - Reach out to a friend, family member, or colleague and have a conversation about CMN. Educate them about the condition and its impact, and encourage them to spread awareness.
September 25th: Mark Your Calendars - Don't miss Dr. Veronica Kinsler's enlightening presentation on CMN. Details will be announced soon, so stay tuned!
September 26th: Share a Photo of Your Nevus Owner - Celebrate the beauty and uniqueness of CMN by sharing a photo of yourself or someone you know with a nevus. Use the hashtag #NevusOwner.
September 27th: Become an Outreach Angel - Volunteer your time to raise awareness within your community. Reach out to local schools, healthcare providers, or support groups to share information about CMN.
September 28th: Celebrate Global CMN Awareness Day! Join us in celebrating this special day by participating in local events, sharing your stories, and continuing to spread awareness about CMN.
