Institutional Giving Coordinator
About the Role
Position Summary:
Nevus Outreach is building a new Institutional Giving Program to expand partnerships with corporations, foundations, and industry leaders. We have identified a strong prospect pipeline and we are looking for a coordinator to engage these potential partners, qualify opportunities, and work alongside our Executive Director and board leadership to close transformational gifts. This role will focus on research, outreach, proposal support, and stewardship, with clear benchmarks and a performance-based bonus structure.

Responsibilities:
Manage and prioritize the Institutional Giving pipeline of prospective corporate, industry, and foundation partners.
Conduct outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to secure discovery calls.
Support the Executive Director and board members by preparing briefing materials and joining partner meetings.
Draft and submit sponsorship and partnership proposals, tailoring messaging to organizational goals.
Maintain accurate tracking of all outreach, proposals, and partner engagement in CRM systems.
Deliver quarterly engagement plans, progress reports, and stewardship updates.
Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in professional outreach (email, phone, and LinkedIn).
Excellent organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail.
Experience (or strong interest) in nonprofit development, sales, partnerships, or account management.
Proficiency with CRM systems, research tools, and online prospecting methods.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Genuine passion for Nevus Outreach’s mission and comfort in representing the organization to external partners.
Trial Period (November 1 - January 31, 2026):
This 90-day mutual trial is designed to ensure a strong fit. Core milestones include:
Develop and segment a top-40 prospect list from the pre-identified pipeline.
Complete at least 50 outreach touches and secure 5 discovery calls.
Draft at least 2 customized proposals.
Present a Q1 2026 engagement plan.
Bonus eligibility: Up to $1,000 total for completing these milestones.
Time Commitment & Compensation:
Part-time, 10 - 20 hours per week
Remote-first position
This role will be paid as a 1099 Independent Contractor.
The position commences on November 1, 2025, with an initial evaluation period of 90 days, followed by the opportunity to continue into 2026 as the organization expands.
