Data & Reporting Specialist

About the Role


Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Data & Reporting Specialist to support our membership, communications, events, and organizational functions. As a key member of the team, you will ensure that our membership operations, reporting, and data management run smoothly and accurately. This is a part-time role (8–12 hours/week) with potential for growth.

Responsibilities:


In this role you will:

  • Manage membership sign-up, renewal, and upgrade processes, including: software/tool integrations, processing fees and issuing receipts, email automations and campaign appeals

  • Maintain accurate member records and respond to member inquiries

  • Pull membership reports, dashboards, and metrics to support organizational decision-making

  • Support segmentation and provide data for marketing & communications (MARCOM) needs

  • Curate and maintain member-exclusive resources in the resource library

  • Assist with surveys, including design, distribution, and analysis

  • Provide reporting and metrics to support conferences and events

Make suggestions for improving data management (if applicable)


Qualifications:
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data integrity

  • Proven experience in data management, reporting, CRM systems, or membership operations

  • Strong skills with spreadsheets, data queries, database tools, and both manual and automated workflows

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of juggling multiple tasks

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with other team members

  • Comfort interacting with members via email or other channels


Time Commitment & Compensation:
  • Part-time, 8-12  hours per week

  • Remote-first position; preferred availability during Eastern/Central Standard Time working hours

  • This is a specialist role and will be paid as a 1099 Independent Contractor.

  • The position starts December 1, 2025, with an initial evaluation period of 90 days and the opportunity to continue into 2026 as the organization grows.
