About the Role

Do you love spreading kindness and gratitude? We’re looking for a detail-oriented volunteer to help us thank the generous donors who make our work possible. As a Stewardship Assistant, you’ll help prepare and mail handwritten thank-you notes to donors—adding a personal touch that makes a lasting impression.


What You’ll Do
  • Handwrite and mail thank-you cards to donors on behalf of Nevus Outreach

  • Occasionally assist with holiday or special campaign acknowledgments

  • Coordinate with staff to receive donor names, mailing lists, and templates

  • Help track completed mailings in a shared spreadsheet or online log

What We’re Looking For
  • Friendly, dependable, and detail-minded personality

  • Legible handwriting and an eye for presentation

  • Comfort handling confidential donor information responsibly

  • Ability to complete mailings within 7–10 days of receiving assignments

Every thank-you note you send helps build a stronger relationship between Nevus Outreach and our community of supporters. You’ll play a meaningful role in donor retention and the heart of our mission: connecting, supporting, and empowering people affected by congenital melanocytic nevi.
