About the Role
Nevus Outreach Print Publications Volunteer
Position Summary:
The Print Communications Volunteer will assist in the development and production of high-quality print materials that support Nevus Outreach's communication and outreach efforts.
Responsibilities:
Print Material Development:
Assist in the design and layout of print materials (e.g., brochures, flyers, posters, booklets, and The Dotted Line).
Proofreading and editing print materials for accuracy and clarity.
Collaboration:
Actively participate in the Print Working Group meetings on the Third Wednesday of the Month at 10:00 A.M. central.
Predominate collaboration will happen asynchronously via our project management platform
Collaborate with other communications volunteers and staff to ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all print materials.
Qualifications:
Strong design and layout skills (preferred but not required).
Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Canva) (preferred).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for Nevus Outreach's mission.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to regular volunteer hours.
Access to a computer and reliable internet connection.
Time Commitment:
Flexible, with an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week, except for major publication projects.
