In this short video, Nevus Outreach Executive Administrator Taylor Scott describes the upcoming Oklahoma Freewheel event, and preparations for it, in some detail. He will be riding his bicycle across the state along with his boss, Nevus Outreach CEO Mark Beckwith, in a little over two weeks. Their goal is to raise $13,000 in pledges which will be matched by a very supportive donor and that donor's employer, for a total raised for the event of $39,000.00.
This comes at a time when funds are badly needed to continue the work of Nevus Outreach. We hope you will view the video, and conclude that you would like to show your support to Taylor by pledging some amount for every mile he rides with Mark. The ride is 509 miles long, so if you pledge a dime, for example, that would be about 50 bucks. With the power of the challenge match, your dime per mile will result in a donation of over $150 to Nevus Outreach (our thanks to the people who have already made substantial pledges!).
There are no two ways about it, that would be a great thing. The simple fact is if we don't do it, it won't get done. The following video is less than three minutes long. (It started longer than that but The Management took measures to tighten it up. Just sayin', Taylor).
Thanks in advance for your consideration.
