Nevus Outreach Graphic Design Volunteer

Position Summary:

The Social Media / Graphic Design Volunteer will assist in creating visually appealing materials to support Nevus Outreach's communication efforts. This role requires strong graphic design skills and a creative eye.


Responsibilities:


Design and Layout:

  • Create visually appealing graphics for social media posts, website banners, newsletters, brochures, and other marketing materials.

  • Assist in the design and layout of print materials, such as brochures, flyers, and posters.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all design materials.

Software Proficiency:

  • Proficient in graphic design software such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Collaboration:

  • Actively participate in the Print Working Group meetings on the Fourth Wednesday of the Month at 9:00 A.M. central.

  • Predominate collaboration will happen asynchronously via our project management platform

  • Work closely with other team members to understand project requirements and ensure designs align with Nevus Outreach's brand guidelines.

Qualifications:
  • Strong graphic design skills and a creative eye.

  • Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong understanding of visual communication principles.

  • Portfolio of design work is preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Reliable internet access and basic computer skills.

  • Passion for Nevus Outreach's mission.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Commitment to regular volunteer hours.

  • Access to a computer and reliable internet connection.

Time Commitment:
  • Flexible, with an estimated 2-6 hours per week.
