About the Role
Nevus Outreach Graphic Design Volunteer
Position Summary:
The Social Media / Graphic Design Volunteer will assist in creating visually appealing materials to support Nevus Outreach's communication efforts. This role requires strong graphic design skills and a creative eye.
Responsibilities:
Design and Layout:
Create visually appealing graphics for social media posts, website banners, newsletters, brochures, and other marketing materials.
Assist in the design and layout of print materials, such as brochures, flyers, and posters.
Ensure brand consistency across all design materials.
Software Proficiency:
Proficient in graphic design software such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Collaboration:
Actively participate in the Print Working Group meetings on the Fourth Wednesday of the Month at 9:00 A.M. central.
Predominate collaboration will happen asynchronously via our project management platform
Work closely with other team members to understand project requirements and ensure designs align with Nevus Outreach's brand guidelines.
Qualifications:
Strong graphic design skills and a creative eye.
Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong understanding of visual communication principles.
Portfolio of design work is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable internet access and basic computer skills.
Passion for Nevus Outreach's mission.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Commitment to regular volunteer hours.
Access to a computer and reliable internet connection.
Time Commitment:
Flexible, with an estimated 2-6 hours per week.
