Team Stockbridge - The Dust Settles
Finally, the dust has settled on Team Stockbridge. The PacTour riders, who started in Oregon on July 5, reached the Atlantic Ocean in Georgia, right on schedule 30 days later!
This was a remarkable event in so many ways: Before it started, Brian Stockbridge committed himself to riding a bicycle across the USA to honor a promise he made his son David, who succumbed to complications of neurocutaneous melanocytosis (NCM). Halfway through, injured from the ride, Brian retired from the tour and his mates picked up his commitment (you have GOT to read this page). On Monday the PacTour team rode triumphantly to the Atlantic Ocean on Tybee Island, GA.

Team Stockbridge founding members Jeanene Spence and Lori Cherry glad to be soaking their feet after riding 3500 miles!
Brian set a goal for this ride to raise $10,000 toward research into a cure for NCM. As of this writing we are only a stone's throw away from the goal. Now is the time, if you have been waiting to make your pledge to this incredible project, to go and show the gumption that Brian and the whole PacTour gang has shown. It's entirely likely that your gift will put us over the top! You can look here for an up-to-date total, or to support Brian and David.
Hats off - and a standing ovation - to all the riders who participated in this great tour!

The whole lot of team PacTour celebrating mightily upon completion of their trek.
