Update Regarding the Status of the Nevus.org Web Site
Holy Cow!
We apologize sincerely for the inconvenience, but due to an accident beyond our control, our web site went off the air on Sunday morning, February 21 at about 2am. Our (now former) web hosting company (the actual provider that creates and sends you web pages whenever you visit nevus.org) was testing its fire suppression system when the system accidentally went off and covered our server with either water or fire-retardant foam or both, causing hardware failures, data loss and other terminal failures. Not pretty. I would hate to have been "that guy."
Believe me, nobody is more frustrated about this than we are here in the Nevus Outreach office.
At this time, we are reconstructing the site from various backups and sources. In the meantime, you may find some pages or features still missing or short of info.

Nevus Registry
The Nevus Registry is an extremely important research tool containing valuable data for researchers and doctors working to solve the mysteries of giant nevi.
The online Nevus Registry interface is not yet functional, though it should be very soon.
We are pleased to say the the Nevus Registry data has not been compromised, although a very few people who have registered or updated in the last few months may be asked to do so again.
