Saturday, July 7 • 10:45 - noon • Salons A-E
Allison Hurwitz, Shawn Reynolds
Your baby has spots. How do you handle stares, questions and rude remarks? Your child is entering day care or school. How do you equip caregivers to help your child thrive? These and other issues are addressed in this session specifically for a parent’s journey through life with a nevus. Our Psychology team will summarize the state of their art for handling these real life situations with final thoughts about stigmas, vulnerability, coping, self confidence, bullying, and - we can’t stress it enough - resilience.
