Bio
Megan has lived in Knoxville, TN since 1988 when she moved here with her family from Chicago. She attended the University of Tennessee for College and then Bowling Green State University in Ohio for Graduate School. Glad to be back working full time at the University of Tennessee for the past seven years as an administrator for sororities and currently an instructor of Public Speaking. But her real passion comes from working with Nevus Outreach part time as the Director of Development.
Megan Found Nevus Outreach when she was 22 years old by running into another young woman with Nevus in a Memphis mall who looked just like her! They shared their stories with each other and have been facebook friends ever since! Megan has a giant nevus that has been removed from her back as well as hundreds (maybe thousands) of satellites. She also deals with severe itching where her nevus was removed.
In her free time, Megan enjoys traveling the world, spending quality time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews, exercising, and volunteering in various capacities at church and in the community.
