Kids' and Teens' Activities

Activities for Kids 8‐12 Years

Thursday, July 5:

Kids will enjoy fun activities from 8:00 – 9:15 am in the Jr. Ballroom. They will then board the bus to the Sea Life Aquarium (20 minutes from the hotel), where they will tour the aquarium and eat lunch. The bus will return at 1:15 pm and the kids will be escorted to the Jr. Ballroom, where they will attend the corresponding session on ‘Real Life Issues’ from 1:30 – 2:30 pm.

Friday, July 6:

Kids will meet in the Jr. Ballroom at 9:00 am (after Matt Luke’s video). They will be separated into two groups and will rotate between the following two activities from 9:00 – 10:15 am, and 10:30 – 11:45 am.
Soccer Clinic: this clinic will be taught by Coach Camilo Casal, a former professional player in Spain’s Premiere Division. Kids will pick up some great ball‐handling skills!
Art Projects: Mary Ayers will lead kids through some fun art projects that will be auctioned off during the Talent Show on Friday night.

Kids will then gather in the Jr. Ballroom for box lunches and a movie. The afternoon session will consist of a super‐fun “Scout Camp” led by Robert Brown, where they will learn some really cool team building games and mind/skill challenge activities from 1:45 – 3:15 pm.

Saturday, July 7:

Kids will board a bus for LEGOLAND® at 9:30 am and will return to the hotel at 2:00 pm, where they will watch a movie or play games until 3:00 pm. Important note: Kids will need to bring socks to LEGOLAND®.

Activities for Teens

Thursday, July 5:

Teens will attend Jodi Unsworth’s keynote from 8:00 – 8:45 am, and then will board a bus for The Main Event, an arcade with bowling, laser tag, arcade games and billiards. They will eat lunch there and will return at 1:15 pm. They can then enjoy social time and games from 1:30 – 2:30 pm in the Jr. Ballroom.

Friday, July 6:

After the real-life session from 9:15 - 10:30 am, teens will have the opportunity to go to Southlake Mall where they can attend a matinee, have lunch, etc.

Saturday, July 7:

Teens will board a bus for Six Flags Over Texas theme park at 9:30 am, where they will enjoy a fun day of roller coasters and rides, returning at 3:15 pm. Lunch will be provided.
