Gathering in the Poconos a Fabulous Time for All
In late September, nearly 60 people affected by a giant nevus met at Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos of eastern Pennsylvania. This gathering, spearheaded by Kim Reinart, was the largest yet outside of the Nevus Outreach Conferences.
What could be more fun than an indoor water park? An indoor water park with more than a dozen kids with a nevus all frolicking together! Throw in a pizza party and a wonderful weekend of fabulous fun was had by all. Regional gatherings are becoming very popular as more and more people with a nevus find others near enough to spend the weekend together. Some meet another person with a nevus for the first time in their lives. Children learn from adults with a nevus. Adults share their experiences and life stories with parents. Parents share the challenges and rewards that come with having a nevus in the family. Thanks to Kim for arranging this great weekend.
