Over many years connecting people together who are affected by congenital melanocytic nevi (CMN), many people have noticed what they think might be a connection between CMN and itching. Our friends at Phoenix Children's Hospital, Dr. Harper Price and Dr. Judy O'Haver, have begun a study to learn more about this. Below is their announcement of this study. At Nevus Outreach, we hope you will consider participating. Click the link to participate in the study.
Do you or your child have a Congenital Melanocytic Nevus? Does it cause symptoms?
Dr. Harper Price and Dr. Judy O'Haver from Phoenix Children’s Hospital want to hear what you have to say about living with your Nevus.
We are conducting an online survey to find out more about the way the nevus feels to the person who has it, in particular whether the lesion itches and what works or doesn't work to relieve that sensation. It will take about 15 minutes of your time to fill it out.
This information will be used as a baseline to try and develop interventions to make the nevus more comfortable to live with.
The survey can be found on survey monkey.
Please consider filling this out.
