2010 Strategic Planning Session Produces Draft Goals for Future

On February 4, 2010, 15 people vitally committed to the future of Nevus Outreach, Inc. met for three days to chart the course for the future of the organization, in the most comprehensive Strategic Planning session Nevus Outreach has ever held.
The group, made up of members of the Board of Directors, doctors, researchers, public health professionals, and funders, focused on the mission of Nevus Outreach and established a two-part focus for their planning:
- Improve the decision making ability of both patients and providers who are involved with Congenital Melanocytic Nevi and Neurocutaneous Melanocytosis.
- Learn the cause of and pursue therapies for Congenital Melanocytic Nevi and Neurocutaneous Melanocytosis.

Part of the Strategic Planning Process is to share the drafts of these plans with you, here on our web site for a one week period, and make ourselves available to you for any conversation you may wish to have about it. This process was started on Friday February 19, but was completely interrupted by our web site failure from February 21 until now.
