Whether you have attended a Nevus Outreach conference before or not, you will undoubtedly find this to be one of the most fulfilling experiences of your life. The opportunity to come together with other people with giant nevi and share thoughts, questions, concerns, and experiences is truly magical! Many of you might be meeting another person with a nevus for the very first time, or have been looking forward to seeing friends from the last conference. Either way, it's an event you will never forget.
Our goal is to improve every conference. This time, we have topics for everyone: basic medical information, insurance issues, treatment, and exciting updates on research. In 2010, we will introduce our Life Coaching Team to lead an expanded group of sessions not just for people with nevi, but also their parents, children and siblings. The physicians were in such high demand in 2008 that we added more one-on-one sessions. Adults with nevi will be available for lots of just plain “talk.”
While the conferences are packed with information, there is also plenty of time to relax and socialize. At any time if you feel overwhelmed, feel free to stop by the breakout area, or relax in the inviting lounge. This conference also offers exciting new activities for kids and teenagers, with plenty of fun things for kids of all ages: plans include an indoor climbing wall, inflatable jumpers, and new arts & crafts projects including the opportunity to create your own family quilt square.
Professional daycare is available for younger children at the facility adjacent to the hotel. Many returning families are already familiar with Premier Academy Daycare. It’s a clean safe place, with wonderful staff, excellent child-teacher ratios and lots of FUN activities!

The Marriott Dallas Solana Hotel in Westlake, Texas is located approximately 15 minutes from the Dallas-Fort Worth airport and offers complimentary airport shuttle service from DFW (not from Love Field). All conference sessions will be held at the hotel.
