2009 East Coast Party Announced
Many have been asking about another gathering for the East Coast Party...well, plans are finalized. Mark your calendars for the weekend of March 20-22, 2009. Unfortunately Great Wolf Lodge was unable to accommodate out group as graciously as they did in the past, but don't worry...I found the next best place. Please check it out www.splitrockresort.com - it is about 20 minutes away from GWL and has a huge indoor water park as well and even more amenities. I will attach the contract document and a sheet that you can fax to reserve your room. You could just call and make reservations under Nevus Outreach. Just a snap shot of price. 1 room with 2 queen beds, sleeps 4 (or more if you gave little ones) is $340 for the entire weekend (that price includes taxes). If you would like a bigger room with a kitchen in it - $378 for entire weekend (price includes taxes). If you are only staying one night, just divide the price of the room... there is no minimum stay required.
Water park prices are sold separately. You can just get water park passes for the day, even if you aren't staying overnight. No pass is needed for children under 3 yrs. A whole day water park pass is $30 (42" and taller) - $25 (children older than 3 but < 42") - $20 for 4 hour pass (in case you know you will not be there the whole day or you have other activities planned) - $10 spectator pass (if you know you are only going in to watch the kids and do not intend on going on any rides).
There are a ton of other things to do there also. I will attach the list and price of the other activities. I am looking into planning another lunch...whether it be a lunch buffet or pizza party. We are working out price currently.
Rooms must be booked by FEBRUARY 20th to take advantage of the special rate. After that date, the additional rooms will be released to the general public and there is no guarantee that there will be any rooms left. Not sure what hotels are located nearby..
Please reply and let me know if you are interested - . We need to at least book 10 rooms to enjoy the group rate. We had a huge response and successful event in 2007 - hoping to top the attendance.
